Marking 10 years since Brexit
National Rejoin Rally Saturday 20th June 2026
This year marks the 10th Anniversary of leaving the EU so to mark this occasion there will be a rally in London on Saturday 20th June 2026.
We have spent the past 10 years adjusting to life without the EU partnership and some have felt the pain more than most.
Fortunately we still have a large community of people who continue to promote the benefits of our partnership with the EU and that interest is gaining ground.
You can purchase the coach tickets on the website for pick ups from Poole, Bournemouth, Ringwood and Southampton.
Dorset for Europe - grassroots organisation
Grassroots organisation
Dorset for Europe is a group of ordinary people from Dorset who believe the future of the UK and its people would be brighter as part of the EU.
I run the website and help with some of their social media activities. Here are the benefits of joining your local Rejoin group.
- =Meet like minded people
- =Talk and discuss important topics affecting us today
- =Get involved in voluntary events promoting the casue
- =Cross party, not political
The group started in 2016 at a ‘More in Common/Hope not Hate’ event in Bournemouth following the murder of MP Jo Cox during the referendum campaign.
Members are of all ages and come from diverse background and totally cross party.
They organise in-person and webinar speaker events with key pro-EU campaigners, including A C Grayling, Femi Oluwole, Andrew Adonis, Molly Scott Cato and Mike Galsworthy.
Members campaign at street stall events, often with like-minded groups, for example Make Votes Matter, and we have a regular programme of social events, including our monthly Eurocafés.

Saturday 23rd May 2026 to Friday 5th June 2026
Walking over 200 miles, the NRM Rejoin Ramble takes place from Saturday 23rd May – arriving on Friday 5th June 2026.
Three members of the NRM will be walking to Brussells to hand them a book of special messages from all of us in the UK, to them.

- =Youth and Sport
Summary
Dorset for Europe and the NRM are not about Brexit, they are focused on the future of this country and how, more than ever, we need our friends and neighbours for protection, economic benefits, fight against crime, tackling violence against women, digital money and the AI revolution.
The Erasmus+ programme is one such opportunity that will have long term benefits for improving skills for this country.
The USA used to be the country that maintained stability, diplomacy and was as a highly revered nation.
Now, world leaders and businesses are having to quickly adapt and change course due to the tariff demands, unethical wars and the unpredictable nature of the US Presidency. The US debt stands at $39 trillion.
