Society for Landscape Studies Annual Conference

The Society for Landscape Studies AGM and annual conference will be on 6th December 2025. The conference takes place every year at a physical location but this year the event will be online and free to both members and non members.
Landscape Themes: Woods, Land Use, John Constable and Watermeadows
The Themes this year are a combination from different speakers. The Chair of SLS will talk about E M Forster and his interest in trees from his writing.
There will be a talk on Land Utilisation Surveys of Britain. The talk aims to explore the evolution, content and outcomes.
Another talk will explore John Constable and the Stour Valley in Suffolk.
The Final talk will be from Hadrian Cook on his passion for watermeadows. The talk will consider the sustainability of the grass to feed the livestock and how they can influence public policy.
